Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients who underwent dental infection screening at the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Periodontology at LMU Munich between July 12, 2008, and December 1, 2024. A clear medical indication for the screening, such as before: Radiation or chemotherapy, Anti-resorptive or anti-angiogenic therapy, Organ transplantation, Or systemic inflammatory conditions of unclear origin. Availability of complete clinical and radiological documentation. Unique KAS-ID enabling linkage to clinical outcome data.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Incomplete clinical records (e.g., missing radiographs or periodontal documentation). Unclear or undocumented indication for screening. No possibility for pseudonymized data linkage (e.g., missing KAS-ID). Patients not referred for infection screening in the context of relevant medical therapy.
