Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Licensed physicians and advanced medical students who have experience in using medical user interfaces, e.g. for ultrasound, CT or MRI systems. Included are persons with at least one year of practical experience in a medical environment who have sufficient knowledge of German and English to understand the user interface and the questionnaires.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants with significant visual or cognitive impairments, without medical qualifications or with insufficient language skills.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Perceived user-friendliness of the graphical user interface, measured using the System Usability Scale (SUS) score and objective eye-tracking metrics such as fixation duration and gaze paths.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Error rate when using the GUI, time required for defined tasks and the participants' subjective satisfaction with the interface. In addition, qualitative feedback on functionality and design is collected in order to identify potential for improvement.
