Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: DEMENCY category Person with dementia (walking tendency, getting up frequently) INCONTINENCE category Person with incontinence issues (severe incontinence, incontinence status unclear) MOVEMENT category Person who is particularly active (moves a lot in bed, turns) Category POSITIONING Person with positioning issues (need to be positioned, unclear whether positioning is necessary).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: In order to generate as much relevant data as possible for our purposes, nursing home residents who cannot be assigned to any of these categories should be excluded. In order to avoid distortions or unnecessary stress, people should be excluded if it can be assumed that they do not tolerate the sensor textiles (e.g. because they repeatedly remove inserts from their bed). People in need of care should not be burdened by their participation under any circumstances. However, if a person should unexpectedly not be able to cope with the material during the study, an exit option is of course provided. This case is treated in the same way as a withdrawal for other reasons (voluntary withdrawal, criteria are no longer met, death, ...)

| - Valid data is available on the current situation in inpatient care, with a focus on the care bed. - We gain knowledge about what is needed for the effective use of assistance systems in the care bed and which assistance systems make sense at all. - Targeted solutions and improvements to the situation for care professionals can be discussed on the basis of key figures and data material. - Approaches for model-based algorithms, models and KPIs are available in order to evaluate the data automatically. Intelligent data evaluation is being successively integrated into the sensor system. - These algorithms generate clear and helpful information from the measured sensor values, which is perceived as helpful in the decision-making process of the nursing staff.
