Inclusion criteria: Officers serving actively in the riot police unit of the federal police of Schleswig-Holstein (full- and part-time).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy, illness, exclusion/leaving the riot police unit

MeasureTime frame
The study investigates the strain, stress and injuries of male and female police officers in the riot police of the federal police of Schleswig-Holstein during their regular daily service hours and training exercises. The following data will be gathered: anthropometrical measures, service age, injuries/physical discomfort in ten different bodily regions, if these occurred through external force and how long their absence was due to injury/physical discomfort. Data will be gathered quarterly over the timespan of 12 months via an adapted version of the "Fragebogens zu Muskel-Skelett-Beschwerden (FB*MSB)" of the baua and BGHW.

The study investigates the strain, stress and injuries of male and female police officers in the riot police of the federal police of Schleswig-Holstein during assignments. The following data will be gathered: anthropometrical measures, service age, injuries/physical discomfort in ten different bodily regions, if these occurred through external force and how long their absence was due to injury/physical discomfort, duration of assignment, type of assignment, which type protective gear was worn, time spent standing, time spent sitting, stepcount, distance travelled on foot, maximum heart rate and minimum heart rate. Data will be gathered after every assignment, over the timespan of 12 months via an adapted version of the "Fragebogens zu Muskel-Skelett-Beschwerden (FB*MSB)" of the baua and BGHW, the NASA-TLX (Task Load Index) and the officer's own wearable tech (Apple Watch, Garmin, etc.).
