Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: At the individual level, we will include caregiving relatives and older adults in need of care (= 65 years) who are classified within care levels one to three. Caregiving relatives refers to all individuals who provide unpaid (excluding care allowance according to §37 SGB XI) and long-term physical care and/or household support and/or psychosocial assistance to a person in need of care from within their family or extended social circle.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for older adults in need of care: • Unable to provide written informed consent • Representation by a legal guardian • Insufficient proficiency in the German language, severe cognitive impairment as assessed by the care advisors/Community Health Nurse (a standardized cognitive assessment is not required, and re-assessment for inclusion is deemed inappropriate due to the burden on the individuals) Exclusion criteria for caregiving relatives: • Unable to provide written informed consent • Insufficient proficiency in the German language • The care recipient, who is being cared for by the relative, refuses to participate in the study
