Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the diagnostic potential of (FDG-)PET-CT for detecting colorectal carcinomas and relevant precursor lesions. The endpoint is the correlation of SUVmax values from (FDG-)PET-CT with histological findings from colonoscopy. This parameter is assessed retrospectively by comparing imaging data with pathological biopsy results.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary endpoints are the determination of the diagnostic accuracy of (FDG-)PET-CT for colorectal lesions by calculating sensitivity, specificity, and positive and negative predictive values. In addition, optimal SUVmax cut-off values are defined using ROC analysis and the Youden index. These parameters are assessed retrospectively through statistical evaluation of imaging and histological data.
