Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Inpatient treatment at the Department of Neurosurgery with scheduled discharge - Planned physician-led discharge consultation including handover of the discharge letter - Sufficient German language proficiency to complete the survey - Cognitive ability to self-assess understanding - Written informed consent provided
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Severe language barriers preventing comprehension of the discharge letter or questionnaires - Cognitive impairments precluding informed consent or valid self-assessment - Acute neurological or psychiatric conditions impairing communication - Participation in another interventional study related to healthcare communication or discharge process
