Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Male and female athletically active participants - For team sports: member of a team that is in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd Bundesliga or Oberliga and trains at least 3 times/week for at least 1.5 hours excluding competitive matches -For individual sports between 10-20 hours/week depending on the sport - According to subjective assessment, no health problems that restrict the performance of sport-specific movement sequences or the production and wearing of an occlusion splint
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Operations in the musculoskeletal or craniomandibular system within the last 2 years - Acute complaints or injuries or illnesses in the musculoskeletal system or in the craniomandibular system - Current physiotherapeutic, orthopaedic or orthodontic therapy - Use of muscle relaxants - Physically incorrect posture diagnosed by a doctor

| The primary target variables are the joint angles (degrees), which are recorded either by means of inertial motion analysis or optical methods using 8 cameras for 23 joints of the body in 3 degrees of freedom (sagittal, frontal and transverse plane), depending on the problem. The aim of this is the kinematic reconstruction of the movements. The joint angles of the different measurement conditions are to be compared with each other in order to detect differences. | — |

| The secondary target variables of the motion analysis are as follows: Acceleration (m·s-2), orientation (degrees), position (mm), angular velocity (rad·s-1), angular acceleration (rad·s-2), velocity (m·s-1) and ground contact points (sec) of the body segments as well as position, velocity and acceleration data of the body's centre of gravity. The following secondary target variables are used to record the 3D upper body statics: Rotation of the pelvis, rotation of the shoulder, height of the shoulder blades, height of the sina iliaca posterior anterior, frontal and sagittal plumb line of the spine, axial deviation, kyphosis and lordosis angle. When measuring the mobility of the cervical spine, the rotation of the head, extension and flexion as well as lateral flexion (in degrees) are recorded. For plantar pressure distribution, the following measurement parameters are regarded as secondary target variables: average pressure load in the toe, ball and heel area, load on the longitudinal arch, gait curve, force rate, ground contact. The following measurement parameters are to be regarded as secondary target variables for postural control: Frontal and sagittal deflection of the centre of pressure, percentage load on the right or left foot, percentage load on the left or right forefoot, percentage load on the left or right hindfoot. When measuring with the force plate as an alternative to measuring the postural control with the pressure plate, force components Fx, Fy and Fz are recorded, the moments Mx, My and Mz can be calculated and the centre of pressure (CoP), where the resulting force acts on the measuring plate, can be determined. The aim of the secondary target variables is to detect different kinetic or kinematic aspects of the movements due to the occlusion conditions during the sport-specific movement patterns. | — |
