Group 1: First-time pregnant women in the 34th - 36th week of pregnancy

18 Years to 40 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - BMI: 18.5 - 30 - Pregnant women in the 34th - 36th week of pregnancy - First-time mothers - Single pregnancy - Fetus in breech presentation - Estimated minimum foetal weight = 2500 g - Adequate foetal weight gain - Consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Lack of consent - Multiple pregnancies - Known malformations of the pelvis, spine and uterus - Previous pelvic operations - Growth retardation of the foetus (<10th percentile) - Contraindications for MRI (e.g. metal implants, claustrophobia) - Pre-existing or obstetrically relevant diseases (e.g. diabetes, pre-eclampsia)

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
•Change in pelvimetry (ITA, CVO, symphysis width, pubic bone angle) in different positions •Absolute and relative differences in the various pelvic measurements depending on the examination position •Description of the variances of the various values

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
• Mode of birth (manoeuvres, indications for interventions-sectio) • Birth process, birth posture • Fetal outcome (birth weight, head circumference, length, APGAR, birth injuries, pH) • Maternal outcome (birth injury) • Pelvic floor (pelvic floor muscles - volumes / diameter)
