Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Clinical, primary diagnosis of acute/decompensated heart failure o De novo or acute decompensation o Diagnosis based on criteria of the ESC-HF guidelines

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -dyspnoea of non-cardiac origin - cardiogenic shock - renal replacement procedures on admission to the emergency ward - documented refusal to allow further use of the data (general consent refused or consent not given by telephone).
