Group 1: Patients presenting with a condition within the spectrum of Amelogenesis Imperfecta (AI)
To assess oral health-related quality of life, validated, age-appropriate questionnaires will be used

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Sufficient cooperation for an intraoral examination - Completed informed consent form signed by parents/legal guardians - Adequate ability to perform proper oral hygiene at home (in the case of children, this must be ensured by the parents)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Structural enamel anomaly of a different origin - Participants who do not meet the inclusion criteria - Participant withdraws informed consent

| Documentation and analysis of the type and longevity of existing restorations, including failure analysis • Assessment of oral health status based on the following parameters: – DMFT/dmft indices at various ages – Number of decayed teeth or tooth surfaces ("d") – Number of missing teeth ("m") – Number of filled teeth or tooth surfaces ("f") – Plaque and gingival indices (Turesky Plaque Index, Sulcus Bleeding Index) – Community Periodontal Index (CPI, excluding Treatment Needs [TN]) – Orthodontic diagnoses (KIG classification) – Prevalence of eruption disturbances and pre-eruptive resorptions – Prevalence of hypersensitivity in relation to AI type • Characterization of the oral microbiome using 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing • Assessment of treatment costs and duration in relation to AI type, based on billing data • Quantification of attrition over time using CAD/CAM scans • Changes in dietary behavior before and after therapy (based on KiGGS/DEGS data) • Micromorphology of the unconditioned enamel surface • Micromorphology of conditioned enamel (prepared/unprepared) | — |
