Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The strength performance of the participants is recorded on the respective EGYM Smart Strength devices directly during training. At the beginning of the study, an initial measurement is carried out in which each participant performs three exact strength measurements on each device. The average of these measurements is used as the basis for the weight in the first training sessions. After every sixth training session, a new strength measurement is taken to document progress and adjust the training load. Strength is measured individually for each exercise on the respective equipment in the circuit. A total of 5 strength measurements are taken over the intervention period. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| At the beginning and after 12 weeks of training intervention, body composition (muscle mass, body fat percentage) is measured using bioelectrical impedance analysis. Body weight and height are also documented and the body mass index is calculated (pre-post intervention). | — |
