Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Playing in one of the German amateur football teams, ii) being at least 18 years old at baseline, and iii) being injury-free 4 weeks before the study commencement.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Having a history of any musculoskeletal (lower extremity) surgery, concussion, or severe cardiovascular problems three months before the study; (ii) participating in other sports simultaneously; or (iii) missing more than 10% of the training sessions during follow-up or one of the testing sessions.

changes in biomechanical risk factors, including knee valgus angle at initial contact, knee valgus moment at initial contact, maximum knee valgus moment, vertical ground reaction force, knee flexion angle at initial contact, and maximum knee flexion angle following application of the Football+ and the 11+ programs

developments in motor performance measures, including sprinting, agility, vertical jump, and dribbling speed.
