Group 1: Children and adolescents with chronic pain and their guardians: Children and adolescents suffering from chronic pain and their guardians are surveyed at cooperating SPPCs. Healthcare provider

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children and adolescents with chronic pain and their guardians: • admission to the SPPC no more than three months ago • statutory or private health insurance in Germany • German language proficiency • intellectual ability to answer a questionnaire • written consent to anonymous data usage Healthcare provider: • completed training as a medical specialist or psychological psychotherapist • treatment of children and adolescents with chronic pain for at least one year • provision of services within the German healthcare system • written consent to anonymous data usage

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children and adolescents with chronic pain and their guardians: • malignant disease of the child/adolescent • severe mental disability of the child/adolescent • severe congenital physical disability of the child/adolescent • life-limiting illness of the child/adolescent • minor age of the legal guardian Healthcare provider: none
