Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Legal age and capacity to consent - Presence of the signed Broad Informed Consent (V1.9) from the Thoraxklinik Heidelberg

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - No or insufficient tumor-free biomaterial available that is not required for diagnostics. - Withdrawal of patient consent.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary aim of the study is to induce lung injury in human PCLS samples through bleomycin treatment and to establish the method as a new model for studying lung injury.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary objectives include the identification of new diagnostic and therapy-relevant targets based on tissue-based, genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic analyses.
