Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Clinically or surgically confirmed diagnosis of endometriosis. 2) Presence of endometriosis-specific symptoms (dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia, dysuria, dyschezia, or cyclic lower abdominal pain) requiring therapy. 3) Legal age of 18 or parental/guardian consent. 4) Proficiency in German for using German-language questionnaires and app interfaces. 5) Signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) insufficient clinical or surgical evidence for the diagnosis of endometriosis, 2) the absence of symptoms impeding the need for any treatment 3) a desire for pregnancy, thereby limiting acute treatment opportunities 4) The absence of an informed consent declaration led to the exclusion of the study.

MeasureTime frame
Assessment of health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in conservatively and surgically treated endometriosis patients using the EHP-30 questionnaire at time points T0–T5 (surgical arm) and T0–T4 (conservative arm).

MeasureTime frame
Acceptance and user-friendliness of the CANKADO online platform --> Assessed using custom-designed evaluation forms, with responses collected on a Likert scale (1–10), multiple-choice options, or free-text responses at time points T0, T3, and T4.
