| The aim of the study is to identify existing and contemporaneous predictors of subjective burden related to the COVID-19 pandemic and to investigate changes in health behaviour as an expression of individual coping efforts. In addition to socio-demographic data, a comprehensive battery of tests is being used to analyse data on personality (e.g. NEO-FFI-60, Strengths & Difficulties Questionnaire, Substance Use Risk Profile Scale, Short Dark Triad), physical and mental health (e.g. Beck Depression Inventory, State & Trait Anxiety Inventory, Perceived Stress Scale, Satisfaction with Life Scale, Brief Symptom Inventory), on critical life events in the last 15 years (e.g. death of a loved one, loss of job, illness/accident), on health behaviour (e.g. Alcohol Use Disorder Identification Test, Severity of Dependence Scale, Drinking Motives Questionnaires, Timeline Followback, Fagerström Test of Cigarette Dependence, Three Factor Eating Questionnaire, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, Godin-Shephard Leisure-Time Physical Activity Questionnaire, Mindfulness Attention Awareness Scale), on coping strategies (e.g. stress processing questionnaire, Selection Optimisation & Compensation Scale, Optimisation in Primary & Secondary Control, Tenacious Goal Pursuit and Flexible Goal Adjustment Scale), on the burden of COVID-19 (e.g. CRISIS questionnaire, individual perception of stress for each month from March 2020 to March 2023), on other COVID-19 constructs (e.g. risk perception, adherence to measures), as well as an egocentric social network analysis, a neuropsychological test battery (e.g. Stop Signal Task, Monetary Incentive Delay, Cambridge Gambling Task, optionally during a functional magnetic resonance imaging), and a genetic analyses. | — |
