Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - No known illnesses (control group) or typical cold symptoms with suspected Covid-19 disease - Written consent of the test person

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Lack of consent - Known medical condition (control group only) - Severe impairment of lung function with inability to perform a slow expiratory manoeuvre of 6 seconds - Lack of co-operation or capacity of the patient or suspicion that the necessary patient data cannot be collected

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
VOC pattern of exhaled breath as well as result of the swab test and completed questionnaire, determined on the day of study participation (arm 1) or doctor's visit (arm 2)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Arm 1: Determination of specific VOC patterns for certain influencing factors (e.g. smoking, mentholated sweets): VOC patterns one hour after consumption of the influencing factor
