Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Sufficient German language skills Severe mental illness (diagnosis according to ICD-10 from the groups F31, F32, F33, F20, F21, F23, F25) Capacity to give informed consent Voluntary treatment Sufficient stability to follow the content (GAF>60)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age 65 years Lack of German language skills Lack of capacity to give informed consent Involuntary treatment Insufficient stability (GAF < 60)

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Quality of Life/Daily Functioning: The WHOQOL-BREF (Development of the World Health Organization WHOQOL-BREF quality of life assessment) measures quality of life in four domains: physical, psychological, social relationships, and environment.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The following are the secondary endpoints along with their measurement methods/questionnaires: (objective) physical activity & mobility (IPAQ, Actigraph pedometer) Nutrition (HEI) Sleep (PSQI, ISI) Mindfulness (FFMQ) Social contacts (SCS) Connectedness to nature (NRS) Functioning level and quality of life (GAF) Mood (BDI, HAMD, PHQ-9) Substance use (AUDIT-C, FTND) All parameters will be assessed at the beginning during the baseline visit and after the 6-week group therapy at the follow-up visit.
