Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis of a depressive disorder (F32.x, F33.x) as primary disorder and treatment focus PHQ-9 score > 9 PTQ score > 35 K10 Distress Scale > 23 Presence of adverse childhood experiences (assessed with ACE-D) Sufficient proficiency in German
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Outpatient psychotherapy within the past 2 years Initiation of new antidepressant medication within the 3 months prior to baseline assessment Dose adjustment of antidepressant medication within 4 weeks prior to baseline assessment Discontinuation of antidepressant medication within 4 weeks prior to baseline assessment Acute suicidality Current substance use disorder (except tobacco) Bipolar affective disorders Current post-traumatic stress disorder Lifetime diagnosis of borderline personality disorder Current psychotic symptoms Body Mass Index < 17.5 Severe physical impairments interfering with outpatient psychotherapy
