18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Body Mass Index (BMI) > 40 or BMI > 35 with at least one comorbidity (e.g., diabetes mellitus, osteoarthritis, hypertension, and/or obstructive sleep apnea). Approval for surgery after a multidisciplinary bariatric evaluation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Psychological unfitness after screening. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) class 4 or higher. Previous bariatric or stomach surgery. Age 65 years. Allergy to Ropivacaine.
