Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with a diagnosis of periodontitis therapy (UPT), = 10 natural teeth, signed declaration of consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with a diagnosis of periodontitis with ongoing pre-treatment or anti-infective therapy (root planing), lack of knowledge of the German language, dental students or dental professionals, = 50 revitalised teeth, infectious diseases (HIV, hepatitis C, etc.), Contraindication for ultrasonic devices: Pacemaers, contraindication for air-polishing devices: respiratory diseases (asthma, COPD, tubercolusis, etc.), allergies (CHX, erythritol)

Time measurement is conducted during treatment, starting from the moment instruments are picked up until they are placed down.
