Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Documented history of at least 4 previous SPT visits and at least 1 year of SPT treatment with yet persistent periodontal pockets >=5 mm in probing depth and bleeding (BOP+) Smokers, D.melitus medication, CHD medications included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy/lactating SPT program lasting for less than 1 year PPD <5 mm No signs of bleeding on probing (BOP-) Demencia, cognitive impairment, Antiresorptiv medication (Denosumab, Bisphosphonates, etc.)

MeasureTime frame
Clinical Attachment Level (CAL) gain is a combined measure of clinical parameters Periodontal Probing Depth (PPD) and gingival recession, this surrogat parameter is calculated in mm after re-evaluating the clinical data at three and 12 months visit.
