Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who underwent epidural anesthesia with or without general anesthesia for surgery Patients < 18 years old

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients > 18 years old Patients who didn't receive epidural anesthesia

Incidence of failure of an epidural anesthesia planned as the primary form of anesthesia (i.e., any secondary general anesthesia with airway management following primary epidural anesthesia with sedation and spontaneous breathing).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- Incidence of technical complications (bloody aspiration, dural puncture, spinal application, failed puncture) during epidural anesthesia placement. - Incidence of infection at the epidural puncture site (requiring intervention due to redness/swelling at the puncture site) or catheter-associated infection. - Incidence of neurological complications during hospitalization (dysesthesia). - Incidence of oxygen desaturation (= 90% SpO2) during anesthesia management in the OR. - Incidence of laryngospasm or bronchospasm during anesthesia management in the OR.
