Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Current inpatient stay at Frankfurt University Hospital on predefined wards in the prospective three-month survey period OR inpatient stay on predefined wards from January to December 2023 - Inpatients = 18 years of age - Detection of enterococci in midstream urine and catheter urine in the last five days - Consent to participate in the study by the patient or authorized representative/legal guardian
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Indication of serious urogenital infection in the sense of pyelonephritis or urosepsis - Grade IV neutropenia - Post allogeneic stem cell transplantation or other organ transplantation - Patients unable to provide informed consent and lack of consent from a legal guardian or authorized representative
