Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 12 and above Type 1 diabetes Sufficient language skills (German) or translator available

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Type 2 diabetes, type 3 diabetes or monogenic diabetes Mental retardation

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary specific aim is to describe the feasibility - defined as recruitment of almost 100 patients with T1D - of psychometric screening using the mobile application.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- acceptability of the application (secondary aim) using items adapted and translated from Wong et al., 2020 and from the “System Usability Scale” by Brooke et al., 1996 - effectiveness of psychometric screening for detecting mental health issues via the mobile application (third aim)
