Conditions

All tracheotomized patients between 2022 and 2023 with at least one day of stay in the general postoperative intensive care unit of the anesthesiology department.

Interventions

Group 1: Historical control. Retrospective analysis of health data for all tracheostomized patients between 2022 and 2023.

Duration of tracheostomy tube use in days during stay in intensive care unit until transfer or death. Retrospective analysis of all available patient documentation and transfer to a master data table for subsequent analysis.
