Conditions

People with severe mental illnesses and complex care needs (addictive disorder ICD-10: F10.2, F11.2, F12.2, F13.2, F14.2, F15.2, F18.2, F19.2 and another psychiatric diagnosis: affective or psychotic disorder). Patients affected by homelessness or at risk of homelessness. Patients after a gerontopsychiatric stay who are at least 65 years old and in need of care (e.g., care level 2 or higher). Young people (up to 30 years old) with first onset of psychosis (ICD-10: F20.0-9, F23.0-9).

Interventions

Group 1: Semi-structured guided interviews are to be conducted once. Start of interviews: August 2025

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Four groups of patients will be interviewed. All participants must be capable of giving informed consent. Inclusion is based on relevant ICD-10 diagnoses and additional criteria. Inclusion criteria: (1) People with severe mental illnesses and complex care needs (susbtance use disorder disorder ICD-10: F10.2, F11.2, F12.2, F13.2, F14.2, F15.2, F18.2, F19.2 and another psychiatric diagnosis: affective or psychotic disorder). (2) Patients in affected by homelessness or at risk of homelessness. (3) Patients after a gerontopsychiatric stay who are at least 65 years old and in need of care (e.g., care level ("Pflegegrad") 2 or higher). (4) Young people (up to 30 years old) with first onset of psychosis (ICD-10: F20.0-9, F23.0-9)

Exclusion criteria: Persons who do not meet inclusion criteria (1)–(4)
