Group 1: 45 minutes of downhill running (12% gradient) at 70% of VO2max followed by 3 hours of taVNS stimulation (Cymba Conchae) Group 2: 45 minutes of downhill running (12% gradient) at 70% of VO2max

20 Years to 40 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: o Physically, neurologically and mentally healthy participants o No intake of psychotropic medication o Confirmed fitness for sport

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: o Acute/chronic psychiatric, immunological or neurological diseases o More than 4 hours of endurance sport per week o Regular intake of medication with psychotropic or immunological effects o Smokers o No confirmed fitness for sport at the first appointment o Open wounds on the ear o Skin diseases on the ear o People with active implants (e.g. cochlear implant, pacemaker) o People with cerebral shunt
