Group 1: approximately 15 to 20 people with IBD aged 18 and over
qualitative study, non-interventional, one-off guided interview and questionnaires to collect sociodemographic and health-related data (1-2 hours in total)

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Confirmed CED diagnosis at least five years ago - 18 years and older, male/female/diverse - capable of giving consent - signed declaration of consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Other acute or severe chronic illnesses - insufficient knowledge of the German language

MeasureTime frame
The aim is to investigate how patients deal with their IBD and what influence their coping strategies have on the course of the disease as they experience it. -Semi-structured interview guide, additionally: -Questionnaire on socio-demographic and health-related data -Short Inflammatory Bowel Disease Questionnaire (SIBDQ) -Harvey Bradshaw Index (HBI) -Simple Clinical Colitis Activity Index (SCCAI)
