Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Patients with a stroke - Paralyzed hand with partial remaining function e.g., hemiparesis with predominantly arm-/hand weakness - MRI compatibility - Ability to execute the training - Sufficient knowledge of German or English - Ability to understand, follow the instructions and give written informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Severe aphasia, neglect, tremor, or spasticity - Severe cognitive impairment - Degrees of freedom of the finger joints and wrist must not be otherwise restricted (e.g., no arthritis, gout or other orthopedic, rheumatologic and neurological diseases that inhibit movement or do not allow pain-induced movement) - Hand deformities and wounds, amputation, severe pain in affected limb, no EMG activity
