Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Assessment of the correlation of the Plasma Volume Status values with the haemodynamic parameters of the PiCCO measurement (stroke volume variance, global end-diastolic volume). These values are recorded at every point in the calibration of the PiCCO system (usually every 8 hours or at shorter intervals if there is an acute change in the patient's condition). All data records of the intensive care stay from admission to discharge are recorded. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Assessment of plasma volume status values in the event of changes in stroke volume, cardiac index and lactate. Changes in PVS in the event of Hb-relevant haemorrhages. Change in PVS if renal replacement therapy is required. | — |
