Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Geriatric inpatients and patients capable of giving consent - Age: = 60 years - No family relationship between the study participants

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Subgingival periodontal therapy within 6 months prior to sample collection - Systemic antibiotic therapy within 3 months prior to sample collection - Refusal to participate, inability to complete questionnaires
