Group 1: Regenerative periodontitis therapy with enamel matrix proteins vs. hyaluronic acid with/without bone substitutes

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with pocket probing depths >6mm after anti-infective therapy for vertical 2- or 3-wall bone defects

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Smokers > 6 cigarettes per day, diabetics with Hba1c value >8

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary objective is to investigate the effectiveness of SMP and HA for periodontal regeneration in the treatment of intrabony 2 and 3-wall defects and class 2 furcations on molars. The parameters collected are to be statistically statistically compared with each other in a parallel study.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The radiological assessment of bony regeneration, the evaluation of postoperative wound healing and the collection of bleeding parameters will be examined as secondary endpoints.
