Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All participants are able to give informed consent; Sufficient English or German language skills; Voluntary participation: Participation in the study is on a voluntary basis. It is possible to withdraw participation at any time without negative consequences

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants with known medical conditions or limitations that could prevent them from safely performing the simulation or using the AR goggles should be excluded (e.g., known epilepsy); participants with known allergies or intolerances to the materials of the AR goggles should be excluded to avoid possible allergic reactions; participants who are unable to understand the instructions or perform the study tasks appropriately due to language barriers or cognitive limitations should be excluded

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Safe, user-friendly and fast interaction with AR glasses using various techniques (“Pointing per Gaze” and selection via “Dwell Button”, foot switch or blinking).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Quantitative evaluation of the various interaction strategies. Improved subjective user safety of the test persons by means of a questionnaire to assess the “Cognitive Load” using the “NASA Task Load Index” (NASA-TLX), “System Usability Scale” and “User Experience Questionnaire”, as well as qualitative feedback from the test persons.
