Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The GBS-45 (Generic Body-Focused Repetitive Behavior Scale 45) (Schmotz et al., 2023; https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jocrd.2023.100810) is a transdiagnostic self-assessment scale for assessing the presence of one or more BFRBs and comprises 45 items. The difference in total score (from T0 to T1) serves as the primary outcome measure in this study. The GBS-45 will be administered at the pre- and post-survey of the intervention period (online group intervention/waiting list).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The Patient Health Questionnaire (Kroenke et al., 2001, https://doi.org/10.1046/j.1525-1497.2001.016009606.x ; Löwe et al., 2004, https://doi.org/10.1016/S0165-0327(03)00198-8), PHQ-9 for short, is a self-report questionnaire with nine items and is used to screen and record the severity of depressive symptoms. The WHOQOL-BREF (Skevington et al., 2004, https://doi.org/10.1023/B:QURE.0000018486.91360.00) is a validated and established questionnaire for assessing quality of life. The Rosenberg Scale (Rosenberg, 1965; https://doi.org/10.1037/t01038-000) is a self-report questionnaire that measures self-esteem. In addition, questions are asked about the subjective acceptance of online interventions and feedback on the sessions. The questionnaires of the secondary endpoint will also be administered at the pre- and post-surveys.
