Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Presence of mental illness, consent of the test person or legal representative, general interest in work on the primary labour market, sufficient knowledge of German

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Learning disability or intellectual disability, insufficient knowledge of German, physical or bodily limitations

professional status, employment rate, cost efficiency - Current income (salary, (sickness benefit) ALG I, ALG II, basic income support, full/half EM pension; status of EM pension application) - Activity-related data (hours/days worked on the general labour market, sick days, gross wages) monthly recording - Employment rate on the primary labour market (proportion of participants who during 6, 12, 18 months observation period: a) were employed on the general labour market for at least 1 day b) were employed for more than 2 months for at least 20 hours per week c) occupational status after 6, 12, 18 months d) total days/hours worked on 1st AM, gross wages, drop-out rate, days absent, days in hospital - Cost efficiency Social Return in Investment (SROI index, Millar et al., 2013) analyses the standardised and monthly accounting of the costs of rehabilitation measures in comparison to personnel and material costs of IPS or standard care: interventions are considered efficient if the benefits in the form of income, which then flow back into the economic cycle through expenditure or taxes, exceed the previous costs of rehabilitation.	—
