Inclusion criteria: healthy (pain free)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: chronic pain, substance abuse, neurological or psychological disorders that influence pain perception, etc.

Assessment of the conditioned pain modulation response as a biomarker for endogenous pain modulation under conditions based on the difference in heat pain thresholds of the participants before and after painful stimulation of the right hand using a cold plate.	—
