Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 12 Women and men with - moderate to severe ulcerative colitis (pMayo score up to 9 points) - signed consent form and - signed transfer agreement - Steroid intake with a dose below Cushing's threshold Control group: 12 people with intestinal health who undergo a screening colonoscopy and who signed of consent form for the study and who signed transfer agreement.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Steroid intake with a dose above Cushing's threshold pregnancy In patients with ulcerative colitis: lack of inflammation at the time of colonoscopy
