Group 1: Patients with osteoarthritis undergoing total hip or knee replacement Group 2: Patients with vertigo, dizziness or balance disorders who recieve interdisciplinary assessment

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients presenting for primary total hip or knee replacement for the treatment of osteoarthritis (contact point: Musculoskeletal University Center Munich – MUM) or for their first interdisciplinary evaluation of vertigo, dizziness or balance disorders (contact point: German Center for Vertigo and Balance Disorders – DSGZ) at the LMU hospital

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Terminal disease, cognitive impairment, insufficient command of the German language or physical problems preventing participation, such as sensory impairments (bad sight or hearing) or a very low energy level
