Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Comparison of ultrasound of RFM (M. rectus femoris) to ASMI (appendicular skeletal muscle mass index) by BIA to diagnose sarcopenia | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| - Analysis of US-RFM as prognostic factor for liver-related complications and mortality over 6-12 months in patients with diagnosed sarcopenia - Identification of 'sarcopenic' patients based on low muscle mass (US-RFM) and low muscle strength - Analysis of US-RFM in relation to disease stages, using the Child-Pugh Score for liver cirrhosis and Fibroscan/controlled attenuation parameter (CAP) for MASLD | — |
