Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: capable of giving consent, presence of an inguinal, umbilical, incisional or diaphragmatic hernia requiring surgical treatment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Minor, age >90 years, unable to give consent, history of bilateral cruciate ligament surgery

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Observation of feasibility Patients are examined clinically and by ultrasound at fixed times. Dates are 10-14 days after surgery, after 3 months and after 1 year.

Quality of life (EuraHS-QoL Questionnaire) within 12 months
