Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: capable of giving consent, presence of an inguinal, umbilical, incisional or diaphragmatic hernia requiring surgical treatment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Minor, age >90 years, unable to give consent, history of bilateral cruciate ligament surgery

Observation of feasibility Patients are examined clinically and by ultrasound at fixed times. Dates are 10-14 days after surgery, after 3 months and after 1 year.	—
