Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: o Consent of the legal guardians o Premature babies 26+0 to 34+0 weeks' gestation o <2500g o Clinically indicated monitoring with galvanic ECG electrodes, temperature and photoplethysmography sensor o Female and male, o Patients in GermanyInpatient treatment at the Department of Paediatrics I at Essen University Hospital
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: o Any medical or psychosocial condition that, in the opinion of the investigators, is a contraindication to hammock positioning, could worsen health due to study participation or could interfere with the study (especially respiratory instability; intubated patients (infant flow or high flow are not exclusion criteria); skin injuries; fractures; epilepsy; arterial hyper- or hypotension; circulatory instability (volume or catecholamine requirements), serious apnoea events within the last 72 hours or painful invasive procedures less than 1 hour before the start of the study; post-operative phase; cerebral haemorrhage; sedation; neonatal abstinence syndrome) o Indication for strict midline or prone position o Premature babies who are no longer positioned in an incubator and require a conductive heat source (waterbed, warming mattress) as heat therapy o Highly agile children with strong movements of their own o Comfort Neo Scale value >16 before the start of the intervention (extreme agitation)
