Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: - “Cohort GDM 2025”: All women with a diagnosis of gestational diabetes who were cared for at the obstetric gestational diabetes outpatient clinic of the Kepler University Hospital Linz, Department of Gynecology, Obstetrics and Gynecological Endocrinology during the inclusion period 01/01/2025 to 12/31/2025 and gave birth there. If the delivery of the patients included until December 31, 2025 takes place at a later date, the data on the birth can only be collected at this later date. The actual end of the study occurs when the last patient included has given birth. As the patients present to the GDM outpatient clinic between the 12th and 30th week of pregnancy, the actual end of the study will occur on July 31, 2025 at the latest. - “Retrospective cohort 2023”: All women with a diagnosis of gestational diabetes and delivery at the Kepler University Hospital Linz between 01/01/2023 and 12/31/2023.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria - Pre-existing type I or type II diabetes - Twin pregnancies - Lack of consent to participate in prospective data collection or withdrawal of consent - Birth in another clinic/home birth
