Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with CNS tumors who are to undergo brain tumor resection, for whom the UKSH has given broad consent or who have separately agreed to participate in the study, and in whom the ultrasonic aspirator is used.

| Assessment of the feasibility and optimization of the procedure (dyeing time, type of dyes used, laser power, exposure time, scaling of the values in the subsequent image). Sensitivity/specificity of the procedure. During tumor resections on the CNS with the ultrasonic aspirator, resected tissue is produced as a waste product. This waste product consists mainly of tumor cells, blood, cerebrospinal fluid and irrigation fluid (Ringer's solution). This tumor aspirate is to be collected in the clinical study described here and examined for its suitability for neuropathological diagnosis using SLIDE microscopy. For this purpose, a tissue trap is placed between the suction tube of the ultrasonic aspirator and the collection container and part of the removed tissue (aspirate) is collected. This aspirate is then transferred to the SLIDE microscope to create a virtual staining and a virtual sectional image. | — |
