Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Adolescents and young adults with chest wall deformity (funnel or keel chest) - Planned surgical correction of the chest wall deformity - written informed consent of the legal guardian and the underage patient or written informed consent of the adult patient

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - insufficient knowledge of German or English - Other physical disabilities - Pre-existing conditions with contraindications to physical exertion and sport

- Pain according to numerical analog scale 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24 hours postoperatively - Time to reach “milestones” of postoperative mobilization - Satisfaction with the correction result (Likert scale) - Postoperative analgestics consumption in the first 24 hours - Number of training sessions not performed out of a total of 18 - Physical activity using the activity tracker (total daily steps, daily active minutes) - Performance increase after 6 weeks of training in the maximum test in percent - Score Frankfurt Body Concept Scales (Scale 1, 3, 4, 6) before and after the operation - Time to full fitness for work/school in days - Time to full fitness for sport in days - Physical activity after 6 and 12 weeks (steps, active minutes)
