Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Cardiac surgery with and without ECC and postoperative mechanical ventilation - Comparison of 2019 to 2023/2024 (approx. 1,000 patients per year) - Age at admission to hospital =18 years - Admission to the interdisciplinary operative intensive care unit in Bad Krozingen
