Conditions

Stroke patients with residual aphasia after rehabilitation, home dwelling

Interventions

Group 1: The participants belong to either a neuropathological or a neuronormative sample. Both groups will be tested under two conditions: (1) congruence of the stimuli presented (congruent
incongruent)
(2) type of instructed language (positive formulaic
neutral non-formulaic
no verbal instruction). This experimental design will result in overall three factors (neuropathology of the sample
congruence of the stimuli presented

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals suffering from post-stroke aphasia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe speech comprehension deficits (as indicated by the AAT Token Test); severe cognitive impairments (as ruled out by the Corsi Block-Tapping Task); recurrent affective disorders (self-report)
