Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with insufficiency of the small saphenous vein, if applicable their cranial extension or Giacomini vein, who were comprehensively examined sonographically (including determination of reflux and junction types) and underwent endovenous laser ablation for the first time between August 2019 and February 2023.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Recurrent varicosis of the small saphenous vein, simultaneous treatment of other veins on the same extremity. Aplasia or only rudimentary saphenopopliteal junction.
