Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Group 1: Newly tracheostomized patients of any age, whose tracheostomy was placed within a maximum of six months prior to recruitment (OPS codes: 5-303, 5-311, 5-312; ICD-10 codes: Z43.0, Z90.0, Z93.0, R13.1). - Group 2: Chronically tracheostomized patients of any age, who have had a tracheostomy for at least six months and a maximum of three years since initial placement (OPS codes: 5-303, 5-311, 5-312; ICD-10 codes: Z43.0, Z90.0, Z93.0, R13.1). - For minors or individuals with limited ability to respond: caregivers willing to participate in the survey. - Ability to communicate in German.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Prior or concurrent participation in other studies/research projects.
